The 1998 Plymouth Voyager got four new body colors and next-gen airbags. For 2000, a new body-colored front grille was added, and a cargo net was added between the front and rear seats. Nominal changes were in store for the 2001 Voyager, with Chrysler taking over the brand the following year. In 2002, Chrysler offered a more powerful V6 engine, updated suspension and dual sliding doors to complement a sleeker body style. The addition of the base Voyager eC trim level was the only change in store for 2003.
