Pontiac Solstice Models and Solstice History

Introduced in 2006, the Solstice by Pontiac was a brand-new performance roadster. A new turbocharged trim level was added in 2007, offering a 260 horsepower engine, sport-tuned suspension and braking, and enhanced stability control. Nominal changes were made to optional packages for this model year, too. In 2008, OnStar was made standard across all trims, and an upgraded sound system with satellite radio debuted. A brand-new hardtop model graced 2009 showroom floors, with ABS, traction control, stability control and a limited-slip rear differential being offered as standard equipment.
