Toyota Venza Models and Venza History

Featuring a design that crosses automotive genres, the 2009 debut of the Toyota Venza aptly catered drivers looking for a wagon, crossover or even a minivan. Taller than a traditional wagon but shorter than Toyota's Highlander, the car-like behavior of the Venza is credited to a lower center of gravity. Designed for five-passenger capacity, the Toyota Venza's interior allowed 34.4 cubic feet of cargo capacity when the rear seat was in use or up to 70.1 cubic feet of size when the second-row passenger bench is folded down. Four-cylinder and six-cylinder engine choices for the Toyota Venza were accompanied with the option of front-wheel or all-wheel drivetrains. The Venza was sold as a single model grade with optional add-on packages until the 2012 model year when LE, XLE and Limited trim levels were adopted. For 2013, the vehicle gained a slightly modified exterior look, an enhanced list of standard equipment as well as Toyota's Entune multimedia system. Resulting of slowing sales, the Toyota Venza was discontinued after the 2015 model year.
