Marine Market Update
The warming weather pattern through the summer months has been a positive light for the industry. Although reports showed a drop in sales for the month of July, August came back strong with monthly sales indicating double-digit increases. Aluminum fishing boats led the way with a 19.5% increase for the month of August.
Dealers are carefully planning for the fall and winter months ahead as many states across the nation may be in for another cold winter. The cold weather and impending election, could have a downward effect for some boat types.
