Producer of a wide range of recreational products, the Colorado-based Mitchell was founded in 1958. At first constructing truck campers, Mitchell manufacturing output also included the production of fifth wheel trailers and travel trailers as well as Class C motorhomes in a span of over two decades. Mitchell left the recreational vehicle business after the 1980 model year and decided instead to focus on the modular home building.
