A product of Airstream, Argosy entered the marketplace in 1971 initially as a travel trailer company. Unlike the Airstream line’s metallic exterior appearance, Argosy would often be defined for being painted on the outside. Ranging from 20 to 28 feet in length, Class A motorhome were produced by Argosy starting in 1973. With motorhome production ending in 1978, the Argosy trailer line would also meet its demise after the 1980 model year.
