Turtle Top was founded in 1962 on the business of producing conversion vans for the recreational vehicle market. A constructer of Class B and Class C motorhomes through the 1980s into the 1990s, Turtle Top provided comfortable vacation accommodations within easy to maneuver vehicles. After the 1998 model year, Turtle Top exited the recreational vehicle market focusing instead on the creation of commercial duty buses.
