Recreational vehicle company Surveyor first operated from the late 1960s through the 1970s constructing Class A, Class B and Class C motorhomes. Designed as tough, simple recreational vehicles, the Surveyor motorhomes were engineered for affordability. In recent years, Forest River revived the Surveyor name for a series of lightweight fifth wheel and travel trailers. The Surveyor trailers feature added luxury touches that were not the aim of the original recreational vehicle company.
